Carbon Composite Props : Three Blades

Once upon a time to use a 3B prop was to take a step back in performance, that is no longer the case with a carbon Bolly Prop. The design and solid CF constuction of Bolly CF 3 blade props puts them in a class of there own, infact more World Championships have been won with Bolly 3B props than with Bolly 2B props.

Most of the below props have quite narrow blades which enables a good diameter (pulling power) to be maintained for the same horsepower. There is no "standard" equation to help select an equivelent 3B prop, but as a general rule - drop down one size in pitch or diameter.

13.5 x 4.5 3B	$65.00	This prop was wrongly marked and sold as 13.75 x 4.5 3B, it really is 13.5" diameter. It's a great prop, F2B Special or Sports .50 - .60
13 x 4.5 3B	$65.00	F2B (.50 - .60) or low speed. Popular with 3D pilots lacking in landing gear clearance or good lightweight 14" 2B props.

11 x 7.5 3B	$55.00	Originally for (1970's) .60 pattern models, this is an early but still well performing design for a whole range of applications. Good on FS engines.
11 x 4N 3B	$55.00	Narrow blade in pure CF for F2B & .46 3D etc. Essentially a trimmed 12 x 4N
10.5 x 6.25 3B	$50.00	Excellent prop for all .45 - .50 models, or .48 - .53FS powered models.

Most of the propellers below 13.5 x 4.5 3B are made with 100% pure Carbon fibre (the larger props have a minor glassfibre percentage).

Special Requests: ie a request to drill a prop to suit a certain engine, then please specify your request, ie what the shaft size is, and in the case of multi bolt hubs what the bolt pattern is and what the bolt diameters are. Please do not assume we know what size your engine's bolt size and pattern is ... quite the opposite, we will NOT drill anything unless the order is correctly specified. We reserve the right to charge for extra service work performed (min $3, max $6). In the past we have offerred a service to modify diameter and pitch - this service has been discontinued.
